Achraf Hakimi, Eliesse Ben Seghir, and Renaissance Berkane amongst CAF awards 2024 finalists

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) formally introduced on Monday the checklist of 5 finalists in every class for the 2024 CAF Awards, with Moroccan worldwide Achraf Hakimi nominated for the celebrated African Player of the Year award.

In addition to Hakimi, the right-back for Morocco and Paris Saint-Germain, the contenders for African Player of the Year embody Ivorian Simon Adingra (Brighton & Hove Albion), Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund), Nigeria’s Ademola Lookman (Atalanta), and South Africa’s Ronwen Williams (Mamelodi Sundowns).
