Aguila Questions Italian Help for Unity Government
The Speaker of Libya’s House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, has questioned Italy’s continued backing of the Government of National Unity (GNU) in an interview with Italian information company Nova.
Saleh known as on Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to recognise the parallel eastern-based authorities led by Osama Hamad. He emphasised the necessity for worldwide help in establishing a brand new unified authorities, stating that when a unified council president receives parliamentary confidence, “all parties, including the Italian government, should support the executive authority.”
