An extraordinary session of the Arab League Council on the everlasting delegate stage convened on Sunday with the participation of Morocco, to debate the Arab response to Israeli threats towards Iraq.
Morocco was represented on the session, held at Iraq’s request, by the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Cairo and Permanent Representative of Morocco to the Arab League, Mohamed Ait Ouali.
In a press release to the press, Hossam Zaki, the League’s Assistant Secretary General mentioned the assembly focuses on addressing Israeli threats towards a member State of the League, specifically Iraq. He expressed remorse over the worldwide group’s ongoing failure to answer Israeli aggression within the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
Zaki acknowledged that the worldwide group appears unable to place an finish to this aggression, at a time when the United Nations Security Council just isn’t absolutely assuming its duties.
