Egypt’s women’s handball team has made historical past by qualifying for the 2025 World Cup for the primary time in girls’s handball.
They secured this victory after defeating the Democratic Republic of Congo workforce with a rating of 23-22 on their house turf, within the quarterfinals of the African Nations Championship.
The first half resulted in a draw with each groups tied at 11-11. Mai Gouda was awarded the most effective participant of the match after attaining the troublesome feat of qualifying for the World Cup.
Egypt’s workforce will now face Angola within the semi-finals.
